South Africa to Celebrate Retail Property Marketing Awards 2012
The South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) brings together the very best of retail marketing in South Africa to reward those with the most effective campaigns. Recognising best practice and outstanding marketing performance, the Footprint Marketing Awards are seen as a benchmark of quality throughout the industry.
Entries for the annual SACSC Footprint Marketing Awards are now open.
The Footprint Marketing Awards honour outstanding SA shopping centre marketing, with a focus on innovation, creative achievements and economic success.
“We reward ideas that work, no matter what size the shopping centre,” says Amanda Stops, General Manager of the SACSC. “We encourage all retail marketing professionals to enter their finest work for these celebrated industry awards”.
Retail centre marketing comprises various campaigns, initiatives and communications. The awards recognise SA shopping centres’ contribution to excellence in all areas of marketing.
The Footprint Marketing Awards reflect this with an array of entry categories in different specialist marketing areas. They cover everything from public and community relations to digital marketing, visual merchandising and sales promotions and events, and more.
“Strategy and objectives, creativity, implementation, cost-effectiveness, impact and results all drive retail centre marketing. All must be considered to evaluate marketing success,” says Stops.
