R800m Ghana's Achimota Retail Centre opens

Achimota Retail Centre in north-eastern Accra has opened doors, sporting more than 50 shops, restaurants, fast-food outlets and a traditional Chop Bar - a uniquely Ghanaian gourmet outlet.

Developed by Atterbury Property, the Center is located on a prime 4ha site in the town Dome and alongside the Accra-Nsawam Highway.

Roux Gerber, West Africa Head of Developments of Atterbury Property, comments: “After 18 months of construction, we are thrilled to open the shopping centre, which takes shopping to whole new level in this region of Ghana.”

The R800 million project is owned by Atterbury and Delico Achimota Limited, which are all majority shareholder of West Hills Mall and the majority controlled by Attafrica Limited.
